We enjoyed dinner here. The drinks are very good - we had a marg and the fall mojito which was awesome. Service was great! The food wasn't anything to write home about but not bad at all.

We tried Heights Taco and Tamale for a late lunch. The drinks were ok. The star was the hatch chili salsa in the trio of salsas with chips we ordered for $5!! The salsas were in cute little jars and the chips hot and tasty- must try!! I had chicken tacos which were fine. The cucumber tomato salad was very tasty and the smoked pinto beans excellent. My partner had the shrimp po boy tacos and said they were amazing. Definitely a place to check out.

We had the platter with various items. We shared and it was enough. The service was excellent. The ambiance was ok. The music was a little loud.

On our second night in Little Rock we found a really pleasant area, The Height's, and tried Heights Taco & Tamale. We had a short wait (it was 6 pm on a Saturday) which gave me a chance to take in the interior of the restaurant. The shop is very open and light with a cool vibrancy. We were seated in the main area and were pleased with the large table and comfortable chairs. We ordered the queso and onion dip; they were both excellent. We ordered cheese enchiladas, pork tamales and an appetizer that was huge and unique called the "The Tamale Pie Dip" which was a mix of Frito's chips, tamales and queso. They were all tasty. The sides of rice my wife and son had were not good nor did it quite go with the entree's (white rice vs Mexican rice). We also had the chocolate cake and soft serve ice cream. The cake was very good as was the ice cream. The portions are big- we maybe finished a third of everything including the desert; my son did polish off the ice cream, though. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The check was reasonable, as well. Thanks for a great meal, Height's Taco and Tamales!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place after church sunday. My friend is from the area and suggested it. When I say the food was great-- it was delicious. I tried the chicken and shrimp fajitas, and they had great flavor. Everything was hot and it was a great portion size. I also added pinto beans and rice. The pinto beans are worth another trip. I personally didn't care for the rice. Maybe it was just a bad batch. I took off a star because of it. The service was good. She did what she needed to do! I think she got a little overwhelmed when more guest came in but she was present as she needed to be. The rum punch WAS STRONG!!!!! it is definitley not an after church drink. I was not ready if you're more of a fruit over alcohol I wouldn't get it. Overall great experience and will be going back for tacos and some drinks

Went for lunch on a rainy Tuesday. Servers were all friendly and we were seated right away. Casual and nonjudgmental cuz we were drinking before noon (hey it was vacation!) The food was good and the portions were gigantic! I had a cocktail and that was well made too. Only four stars because chips and salsa aren't free and personally I prefer whole beans to refried beans and the nachos didn't come with a choice.

My mom and I took a girls trip to Little Rock and i fully intended to take her to a nice steakhouse for her birthday but we walked past this place and noticed the charming exterior yummy smell and big crowd and she was intrigued. We ended up doing her birthday dinner here and it was so delicious! Their menu items was great it had not only your typical Tex mex food but tons of different salsas to choose from shrimp and pineapple salads if you're wanting to opt for the healthier option etc. we were blown away by the options! We started with the pick 3 salsa sample for only $5! My favorite was the salsa that tastes like jam -- it's highly addicting! I got the grilled chicken tacos that are topped off with fresh guacamole. Their tortillas had to be house made because they were so soft and fresh. The chicken was juicy and perfection. I wasn't a fan of the cucumber tomato salad it could've used more dressing or something in my opinion. Our waitress was very kind always attentive coming around our table to check things even though she had a massive table next to her also. Overall we loved this place for the fresh food unique menu items and great service

Third time here. Put it this way, we drive through Little Rock once a year. It's a must stop. We had Britney (Bee) and she made it perfect. She was a ten when it comes to service and a perfect attitude. The tamales are the world's best. And, we've had them in some very authentic places near the border. The beef is great, but man that sweet potato, beans and corn was from another planet. Someone's grandmother made that fresh this morning. The cocktail hit the spot. The enchiladas are so amazing. The chicken verde has to be my favorite. The chicken and cheese are melt in your mouth delicious. The beans are better than your average black beans done everywhere. The rice is surprisingly great for being white rice. They have small pieces of corn tortillas inside for additional flavor and the roasted tomatoes on top just put it in another category. Of course the place is upscale casual. Nothing stuffy or uncomfortable. The mix of chairs give it an eclectic feel. If you're in the area, stop by for some great food and service. Make sure to tell Britney "hi".

5 stars! From staff to food! I had a party planned with no food! I was from out of town and I called Heights hoping they would be able to help last minute. The staff helped with positive and happy outlook. They over delivered and I was able to pick up all the food, PLUS a little extra for the birthday boy! When I picked up the food we stayed for happy hour and enjoyed drinks. They location is beautiful and the drink were a great price and yummy! I would add this to your list! && the Tamales are a MUST!
